About The Artwork
When I feel lost looking on an empty canvas, I paint characters from Sailor Moon, the old 90' anime I growed up with. I take something I know and feel nostalgia to, and change it into something disturbing and odd. I play with my memories and try to scare myself. I wonder what would my 10 year old self see in it. I like to make my thoughts into portraits, because, no matter how alien they look, human brain will always see the distorted face and react strongly to it.
