About The Artwork
The time after my surgery (left foot) was a very intense time. My body as well as my mind lost patience almost every day, as well as positive thinking. So it was a daily struggle. I had to wear a cast for more than 3 months. During this I painted a lot to not go crazy and to find/search for a meaning in it all. This was done in February 2022. One day I lost my patience and creativity again and sat down, took out my drawing pad and did a little hummingbird study. I read over my favorite little animals and sketched the Ornate Hummingbird, the Mosquito Hummingbird, the Anna's Hummingbird, the Red-bellied Hummingbird, the Ecuadorian - Andean Hummingbird and the White-naped Hummingbird. After that I just painted the shadow and cut them out as a "stencil". From this study and this technique, three colored canvas paintings were created. Die Zeit nach meiner Operation (linker Fuss) war eine sehr intensive Zeit. Mein Körper wie mein Geist verlor fast täglich die Geduld, sowie auch das positive Denken. Es war also ein täglicher Kampf. Ich musste über 3 Monate einen Gips tragen. Dabei habe ich viel gemalt um nicht durch zu drehen und einen Sinn am ganzen zu finden/suchen. Das hier ist im Februar 2022 entstanden. Eines Tages verlor ich wieder meine Geduld und meine Kreativität und setzte mich hin, nahm meinen Zeichenblock hervor und machte eine kleine Kolibri Studie. Ich lass über meine kleinen Lieblingstiere und skizzierte die Zierelfe, den Moskitokolibri, den Annakolibri, den Rotbauchkolibri, den Ecuador - Andenkolibri und den Weissnackenkolibri. Danach malte ich nur noch den Schatten und schneidet diese aus als "Schablone". Aus dieser Studie und dieser Technik entstanden drei farbige Leinwandgemälde.

Even as a child, I dreamed of being able to fly (and thus escape) without any wings or tools. Accordingly, my enthusiasm for painting and sewing started early. What started out as a carefree affair developed over time into a great passion. Fascinated and obsessed with the feeling of flying, I delve deeper into the subject with motifs such as clouds, the sky and birds. I especially love hummingbirds, parrots and rare species of birds, which led me to want to know where they come from and where they live. Back then, this brought me closer to the topic of the rainforest, which has occupied me more and more since the Amazon fires in 2019. In addition to my apprenticeship, my fashion design studies and the various jobs, I have always been artistically active. Be it for me, my apartment, or because I was asked to do a piece of art. Since 2019 I regularly dedicate at least 20% of my time to art. One of my goals for 2022 is to work for an organization that takes care of the protection of the Brazilian rainforest (animals & population). So I would like to donate 10% for every picture sold.
