This tryptich is inspired from music, a pervasive and growing presence in human life. With its mood modifying power, music has the ability to uplift and transport the human mind from the depths to the heights of bliss. Music is a mysterious phenomenon that is now been investigated a new sub-discipline within psychology: music psychology. The effects of music on the brain are now researched, elucidation the processes at work, implications and therapeutic potential. Among the most meaningful findings from neuroscience is that, unlike previously thought, parts of the brain involved in language are also used in music. Abstract as it is, music is known for its unique ability to convey emotions. Written into complex sequences of symbols, music is shared in every culture. No longer restricted to musical instruments, this art form is overcoming many limitations with the rise of digital technology, enabling limitless flights of the imagination by its creators. It is likely that more will be revealed soon about the workings of this unique communications system.
