About The Artwork
Recently my grandmother passed. Then not two weeks had gone by and I lost my father-in-law. I'm an emotive artist. I wanted to comfort my family, deal with the enormous loss, and honor two people whose lives had such impact on mine. We received dozens of condolences in the form of notes, bouquets, and prayers. I found myself looking at the floral arrangements and wanted to translate that same beauty and sentiment into tangible works of art. A new series was created. This garden of abstraction is a tribute to those I loved and lost.
