About The Artwork

The Beatles John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr 119 Acrylic on Stretched Canvas Each canvas is 46cm x 61cm x 1.5cm (18 inches x 24 inches x 0.5 inches) total of four canvases. The Beatles rock band formed in Liverpool in 1960, comprising John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr. They are regarded as the most influential band to date. This painting is in celebration and incredible endurance and innovation in music history. Painted at their height of groovy songs with moustaches and 60s haircuts to match. Each portrait is painted on a Jackson Pollock abstracted background which is coloured in a single line so that they match. They can be in a line or as set up as a group of four two by two. Or can be viewed individually in different rooms. The portraits are colourful and painted with minimal strokes and quickly allowing the background colours to appear through. I recommend framing in black, gold or white. The sides are all painted in case you don't want to frame them.
