About The Artwork
Simurg is a fantastic creature in Iranian mythology, king of all birds, also known in mythology of Turkic peoples of Central Asia and the Volga region. Simurg is an immortal bird nesting in the branches of the Tree of Knowledge. In my interpretation Simurg sitting on a Tree of Knowledge gives birth to life in its various manifestations. Some people cultivate the Tree, others hunt the Bird, some want just to get the fruit, others perceive it superficially, without a hitch to understand. And the Tree gives seeds, and they probably grow in other dimensions as well...
