The Bitterness of Time Has Ended: Conquering the Consciousness of Time, with the Awareness of Eternity This series was inspired by the symbolism and vigor of ancient Sumerian, Egyptian, and Eastern cultures that have centered their society, beliefs, structures and technology around the harmonic frequencies of healing and fundamental energy sources that united their resonance, of which have faded. This painting was created on Bright White Hot Press Rag Watercolor Paper 140lb with gauche and acrylic gauche, pencil, and ink. The gauche provides a soft appearance. I left the original perforation of the papers edges. As a note there the paper has undulations from the materials used. ______________________________________________________ The lion is a symbol that represents the awareness of eternity as it is unchanging and constant. It is also representative of the sun, as the bull is representative of the moon, and is a symbol for the eternal wheel of death and resurrection. This artwork is representative of Eternity as it is reigns, while the wheel of death and resurrection has come to an end. The lion is power, in its complete awareness fixed in eternity.
