The Cell Print

I am an Istanbul based artist. I paint, illustrate, rarely animate and sometimes sculpt. The earliest memories of my life include crafts and colors. After years of employment in production & advertising industry that starts as animator and ends as creative director, I chose to work as a freelancer artist. I have degree on arts in animation. Although I have obsessively reccurent tendencies while drawing, I cannot stick with one style or medium. I like to work both with digital and traditional mixed media. I like practical materials such as gouache, ink and polymer clay. I adore soft pastels and dry brush watercolor. I feel that working in a single medium is too restrictive for my swift changing creative process. Ususally I become the medium and appearing ideas manifest in their own individual style. I find inspiration rather in thoughts driving me to produce less aesthetic / more functional works in order to transmit the flow of thought and discovery only, or, in states of peace and silence I find the inspiration in the nature, through organic materials and forms. It seems like then the layers of nature has all the stories to tell and show. Hello! I hope you enjoy my Works.
