About The Artwork
Work inspired by George Seurat's "Les Poseuses" I have taken Seurat's original work and given it a modern update. I was only interested in Seurat's use of the same model in three different poses in the same setting. Seurat's original has connotations linked to French society. My triptych is celebrating the model. The triptych consists of three panels 120 x 80cm.
