Marco Affaitati (b.1988) is an emerging italian artist. Currently lives and works in Rome where he carries on his artistic activity and teaches in public middle school, in the classes with special education needs. The artist uses the canvas as a notebook, a storytelling of gestural and emotional layers. A painting session generates a layer, from the intersection of several layers, works of a transversal nature are born, divided into numerous microcosms that constitute a visual, narrative and philosophical fabric. The artist creates pictorial "ecosystems", in which beauty and meaning develop in the relationship between painting sessions and in story that is slowly being generated. Over the years, Affaitati has experimented with various pictorial techniques, currently he combines oils and solvents of vegetable and mineral origin mixing them with natural or synthetic pigments.
