Medium: acrylic and oil on canvas. Year Created: 2008 This is a story about one rendezvous that changed something in my life, and I will remember it for a long time. It happened in Brazil, in the land of pink roads, sad music and incredibly beautiful melancholy, which mixed there both, with the skin and with the walls. I well remember the morning in quarters of Santos, which were about to be demolished. I knew if I get back there after a while, I will never find this sorrow street with my beautiful girl in the window. I knew that would be no more hint of that old felicidad mural suddenly appeared in the window with the Sun beams and the bird's cry. I understood that whole that world will totally change. There will be no more such music, no more such sounds, and even the smell of our love will dissolve with no remains in this cruel space. And only the frost between my shoulder blades will become my best guest for a years, along with the memories of the wonderful melancholic world, which has melted that morning at the speed of light. It is sad that this world is changing irrevocably. We can not do anything with it. One day, when I was far from this place, I suddenly imagined myself as an insect sitting on a light bulb hanging above that old bed. This is how this painting was born.
