ABOUT THE ARTWORK

**Nov. 2, 2021. / 24 x 30 x 1.5 Gallery Wrapped Canvas. Professional Acrylic Paints. Use of Palette Knives and Brushes. 1/1 / Certificate of Authenticity & Artist Bio & information will be included with the painting. The painting will be signed on the backside of canvas. ***I have created this Abstract Painting with Brilliant Red in mind. I wanted to also experiment with darker colors such as Black, Brown, and Red Brown. I wanted to create a clear contrast showing the Red highlights & Brilliant Red patterns. I did this because I do use Red a lot in many of my paintings because of the spiritual representation of Red. Red meaning Power, Action, Energy, Passion, Survival, Creation, Vitality, and Dominance, I wanted to have the darker colors in the background to have an association of transitions. The Black color for me being a back drop and showing the thin lines of Red overlapping the Black to be a path to take create a positive road ahead. These Red lines representing Survival & Energy. I wanted to transition from Black to a blend of Grey, Sliver, Brown, Black, and White to signify Action and then the opposite side of the canvas opening up to the shades of Brown, Red Brown, Shades of Red & Brilliant Red. The strong small patterns of Brilliant Red to have the appearance of courage, hope and strength building. I emphasized the importance of Power for the Mind and the Heart with the large Red tear drop shaped pattern. Note: I base my pricing on the amount of time spent working on the Painting, Art Supplies used, Amount of paint used, Genre/Composition, and Saatchi's % which is important since they are promoting my artwork around the World.
