About The Artwork

The picture was painted two years. The foundation was laid in the cellar under the stage of theater. Wanted to show the attitude to death, life and the ships (then only began to be interested in them (mainly sailing ancient vessels)). The basis of composition was born from casual drips of paint on a tuba on a roof. at each stage work looked considerably different. Started barrels anew, then splashed paint, then dot graphics ink, then work as a brush and oil, then poured colors, and only in the end wrote with a brush and a palette knife. the ship - the ghost is a wanderer who doesn't belong to the world any more live (therefore it floats by sea from persons of not decayed corpses), but isn't completely absorbed by the world of the dead (the blue rock. consisting from the decayed and deformed faces). Where it will come and when - a riddle for me. But he is ready to accept it and plows up embraces new and unknown.
