This oil pastel painting is part of a series I refer to as "Enigma". It portrays an object, or an imaginary presence floating over a landscape and beginning to obscure all that is familiar or comfortable. It perhaps asks the age-old question about humanity's place in the cosmos, if we are alone, and what we may have to fear if we learn that we are not.
