From the series "Musical impressions from the music of Camille Saint Saens." Camille Saint-Saëns’s music is viewed as a classic piece with a serious undertone. However, Camille Saint-Saëns himself was an unusually cheerful person, living his life to its fullest. Humor together with irony accompanied the composer his whole life. He wrote a comical suite for an ensemble, named “Carnival of Animals”. He called his masterpiece a “Great zoological fantasy”. “Turtles”. By nature, this composition is very slow, as the turtle is a leisurely reptile. This part is very comical, because the author quoted from the famous theme of the incendiary cancan from Jacques Offenbach’s operetta, in a very slow motion.
