Vajra (Skt. वज्र, Tibetan: dorje) is a ritual and mythological weapon in Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism and Jainism. It was created by the divine artisan Tvashtar from the bones of the sage Dadhichi for Indra. With important religious and cultural significance, the vajra symbol spread with Hinduism and then Buddhism to many parts of Asia. It is found in India, Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan, Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, Indonesia, China, Korea, Japan, Mongolia. In Indian mythology, the vajra is the weapon of Indra in his fight against the asuras. This is a powerful weapon that combines the properties of a sword, mace and spear. The word has several meanings in Sanskrit: "lightning" and "diamond", used in Buddhist sacred texts and in the names of sutras. Vajra symbolizes the strength and firmness of the spirit, as well as eternity and indestructibility. It has a symbolic analogy with a diamond - it can cut anything, but not itself - and with lightning - an irresistible force. Vajra is a symbol of the fight against internal enemies: attachment, hatred and ignorance. Vajra consists of several parts. In the center is a sphere that represents Shunyok, the original nature of the universe, the underlying unity of all things. Two lotus flowers emerge from the sphere. One represents the phenomenal world (or in Buddhist terms Samsara), the other represents the noumenal world (Nirvana).

Our life consists of many moments - joyful and sad, happy and tragic. From these moments the picture of our life is formed. Whether it will be positive and bright or negative and gloomy depends on the individual's perception of his own experiences. I paint every moment of my life on canvas with a dot. Thus, I cognize my true Self in the projection of the Universe. My name is Ksenia, I'm from Ukraine. I am an artist and designer, graduated from art school and the Institute of Design. I own the classic technique of watercolor painting, black and white graphics ink and pen. My paintings were exhibited at the state exhibitions of Ukraine, there were also personal exhibitions. After graduation in 2006, I became fascinated with spiritual practices. And it completely changed my life. I moved to live in another country in Georgia. After a trip to India, I opened a mandala channel. In 2015, I began to draw mandalas in the Dot Painting technique. All the mandalas I paint in meditation. I never know what the mandala will look like at the end. Each mandala is unique. No mandala can be re-drawn, just as you can not return the last moment.
