About The Artwork

Watercolor artwork in graphic style. Hope you will enjoy having it on your wall :) A charming victorian bicycle, that I just fell in love with. Bicycles of that design began to be produced in 1870 by James Starley, known as the "father of bicycle industry". They were based on French bonshakers, but with front wheels of a much larger size (their height was more than 1.5 meters); a larger diameter allowed the bicycle to achieve greater speed. Although the period of their usage was short, Grand-bis became one of the most well-known cultural symbols of the late Victorian era. Watercolor paper (100% cotton), ink, markers, pencils and watercolor.
