About The Artwork
Deep immersion of oneself, the search for femininity, dissolution in the moment of "now", connection with mother nature. This self-portrait was inspired by the philosophy of Carl Jung and his ideas about the female part of our personality. Jung defines anima with its Latin derivation, meaning "soul". She is faceless goddess of love, kindness, and hypersensitivity to this world. The photo was taken during a solo retreat in the mountains of northern Portugal. High-quality print, cream-coloured passe-partout with black bevels, custom-made frame in a photo studio.
