As George R. R. Martin said in one of his novels from the A Song of Ice and Fire series - “The mind needs books, like a sword needs a whetstone.” Why do people read books? I dont know. But I will speak for myself. I started reading when I turned 30, until I was 30 I also read, but it was rare, since I was 30 I read every day and rarely when I have a day without reading. I started reading in order to develop my memory, but not only did my memory develop, I learned to better express myself in what I want to convey in my own words to the interlocutor. I realized that any fiction consists of two layers, for example, like an iceberg in the sea. The plot is the surface of the iceberg and the writer's thought is the part of the iceberg that is under water. After reading each book, I give myself a few days to reflect on it, in order to form an opinion about it and find the thought in the plot of the book that the writer wanted to convey. Books help me to understand life better. I have learned to express my thoughts in the photographs I create. Therefore, in the book that replaces the head, I deliberately erased part of the text and made it translucent. To make people understand, when we read we fill our brain with new thoughts and ideas of life. Why did I depict an e-book in this work? Because thanks to e-books, those books that are not on sale in our small town have become more accessible to me, it is more convenient to buy them, and there is no need to wait until it arrives by mail.
