About The Artwork

Cass Lake Fine Art Giclee Print Limited Addition Print Edition of only 5 I took this photograph from my father's boat near my childhood home. Cass Lake is located in Waterford, MI and this view is of Dodge 4 State Park. This is a limited edition print. photographic print 40x60 printed on giclee fine art somerset velvet paper Signed and numbered. Comes with a certificate of authenticity. Signed and numbered on the print. 1"-2" border for framing. Please note this may be shipped rolled. Giclee printing and What It Means Giclee (pronounced Gee’clay) is a French term meaning to spray or squirt, which is how an inkjet printer works. However, it is not the same as a standard desktop inkjet printer, and is much larger and more detailed. Giclee prints are printed on high quality archival papers. Giclee is the best way to produce archival reproductions of fine art and photography. Giclee inks are archival certified and if treated properly, will last a lifetime. The way the image is scanned is different also. The original is scanned directly on a drum scanner or large flatbed. This print will be on Epson Somerset Velvet - 255 gsm, certified archival paper. This paper is acid free to preserve both fine art and photos, 100% cotton rag with a radiant white surface for vivid colour reproduction. It has a velvet surface for rich details and exceptional finish for black and white images. Somerset has always been the primary paper choice among serious artists and printmakers. Ever since the 1700s and the days of handmade paper, it has enjoyed a reputation for quality that has continued to grow over the years. Somerset Velvet for Epson is a 100% cotton, acid-free paper that delivers long-lasting prints when used in combination with Archival Ink.
