The Process Back & White Silver Gelatin Images are captured on either 35mm or 120 medium format film, developed using traditional darkroom chemistry. The negatives/positives are then scanned to create a digital file which is then sent to Ilford Photo (Harman Labs) where they use a laser, instead of an enlarger, to print the image onto real black and white photographic paper. The paper is developed using traditional darkroom chemistry which results in an archival print with true black and white tones without any colour casting. Colour C-Type C-type printing is much the same process but uses Fujifilm DPII professional paper which has superb depth and colour saturation.
