A photographic serious focusing on elements of flight. This is an engine detail shot of a Douglas "Dauntless" Dive Bomber onboard the USS Lexington in Corpus Christi, Texas. The Lexington was a World War 2 Essex class carrier, now a floating museum. Throughout the Pacific Campaign the Japanese reported her sunk multiple times only to have her return to fight again. This is why she became known as the "Blue Ghost" to the Japanese during the war. Commissioned in 1943 she was the oldest working carrier in the United States Navy when decommissioned in 1991.

With a background in various art mediums from my earliest age I naturally became interested in photography as I developed. I'm drawn to clean composition, trying to capture subject matter seen everyday in an interesting and hopefully compelling new light.
