I was inspired to create this work by the natural beauty embodied in the refraction of light through early morning dew as it settles on floral structures and formations. The result is a miniature world that perfectly replicates the photographic process itself, i.e. harnessing refracted light to create a desired image. In this case, the bead of water is delicately balanced on a dandelion clock seed, and the choice of a flower with deep crimson/hot pink tonalities creates a vibrant and eye-catching colour scheme. Photography: Digital, Photo, Color, Paper on Paper. Material: Hahnemühle William Turner 310g fine art paper. High quality, mould-made paper, 100% cotton fiber, natural white, acid-free, water and light resistant, offering the highest resistance to aging.
