About The Artwork
This image is part of an exhibition series called "Fauves" . It was based on the modern adornments we wear that are still based on the animals we caught in tribal times. These shoes are made of feathers and so displayed as though in a birds bower. The leg is covered in feathers and the nails have become talons. This series was originally exhibited on metallic paper hanging from garter belt stocking straps.
