For me, images come from darkness and light unveils them in the way we want it. Photography and drawing have been very important for my development as an artist. They have interacted together in order to influence the kind of photography that I started experimenting since before it became the subject of my thesis, in which I wanted to capture the object’s own movement as in a drawing. This interaction that I propose between photography and drawing was what inspired me to develop some of the projects that I am currently working on or have already finished. I use different methods of illumination to create a stage for the subject and a mysterious atmosphere. I have questioned myself about how does photography speaks to the viewer. Why do we think, as spectators, that we can get to know someone through a portrait? I intent to make this evident producing images to make the viewer wonder; building the object being photographed in a way that the viewer can interact with the piece to interpret, from his/her own subjectivity, the image in front of him/her.
