About The Artwork

From the "No Sleep Till" collection, the creation of "Pride" was inspired by a deeply personal connection I've always felt towards lions. Ever since I was a child, these majestic creatures have captivated me with their strength, dignity, and the complex social bonds they share within their prides. I remember reading endlessly about their habitats, marveling at their roles as protectors and leaders, and being moved by the profound sense of family and community they embody. This fascination grew into a lifelong reverence, guiding me to explore the parallels between their world and ours. One particularly transformative experience was a journey I took to Africa, where I had the privilege of observing a pride of lions in their natural habitat. Witnessing their interactions, the silent communication, and the palpable bonds they shared left an indelible mark on me. It was a moment of pure connection, a realization that despite the vast differences between our worlds, there existed a universal language of respect, love, and survival. This experience became a wellspring of inspiration for my art. "Pride" is more than just a portrayal of lions in an urban setting; it's a tribute to the lessons they've taught me about strength in unity, the beauty of natural leadership, and the importance of protecting those we call family. By placing these regal creatures in the shadows of a Dumbo, Brooklyn alleyway, I sought to bridge the gap between their world and ours, highlighting the inherent nobility and resilience we all share. This piece is a reflection of my journey with these magnificent animals, a journey that continues to inspire and shape my perspective on life and art.

As a steward of nature through my art, each piece serves as a dynamic manifesto, designed to spark a movement towards the conservation of our natural world. Utilizing the transformative power of artificial intelligence, I craft vivid portrayals that animate the grandeur of wildlife within our borders, ensuring that these magnificent creatures remain safe, uncaged, and unbothered, just as nature intended. My approach treats every subject with the utmost respect and adoration, allowing me to capture their essence without disrupting their natural habitats. These works stand as heartfelt tributes to the wilderness, echoing a plea for the protection of our planet's intricate ecosystem. Every creation is a call to action, a reminder that safeguarding the splendor of nature, through non-intrusive means, is synonymous with securing our collective legacy. Cabot's black and white artworks quickly gained attention, with his first solo exhibition in 2010 showcasing his unique style of capturing wildlife in unexpected settings. However, it was his "Lions in Dumbo" series that truly launched his career. The portraits of majestic lions set against the backdrop of the urban landscape of Dumbo, Brooklyn captured the imagination of art collectors and critics alike. The "Lions in Dumbo" series sold out, and Cabot's career took off. His work has since been featured in exhibitions and galleries around the world, and his pieces have been sought after by collectors and art enthusiasts alike. Cabot's style is characterized by his use of artificial intelligence to create his black and white art imagery, which gives his works of art a timeless and classic quality. He has a unique ability to capture the essence of his animal subjects, showcasing their power and grace in unexpected ways. From the bustling streets of New York City to the serene landscapes of the French countryside, Cabot's portraits transport viewers to new and unexpected worlds. Despite his success, Cabot remains humbly dedicated to his craft. He continues to seek out new and unique ways to capture the beauty of the natural world, always striving to push the boundaries of his own artistic vision.
