I, like everyone, have an inner reality, consisting of experiences, knowledge and memories. Their language is not literal, but symbolic. By photographing, I recreate this inner reality, subjecting the real world to my own canons. Objects and phenomena for me are like living beings. Working with them, I create a kind of theater, making them silent actors. Each of them -its role and stage setting, its internal dramaturgy. In Japanese culture, there is the concept of "mono-no-avar", translated as "the charm of the thing" or "delight of the thing" and inextricably linked with the Buddhist view of the ephemeral and futility of life. According to him, material and spiritual objects surrounding a person are fraught with a unique fleeting charm. It is this charm that I am trying to display in my works. I do not shoot still lifes, I always want to create portraits of things. In order to "clear" an item from everyday life, I place it,as if in a metaphysical space. It is interesting for me to look for sacred meaning in things, and to convey this in my works.
