About The Artwork

I found this old stockyard, in the middle of the afternoon when exploring between working shift. This one was created before the owner bought the land, but apparently used at that time to count the cattle and park them in trucks for auctions in the city nearby. I found the place furnished with a well, with half of the stockyard destroyed by time and unforeseen of natural life. The well still in function providing water in the different fields by pumps. I couldn't resist to immortalize the strict pattern of human accountability contrasting with a simple oak tree woods. Nevertheless, the old rusty metal and sprinkled wood panel reminder of hard labour and stern conditions of life, pictures well in the scenery.
