Mixed-Media Artist Former P -12 Visual Fine Arts Educator Community Volunteer Social Justice & Environmental Vusual Arts Activist I'm a lifetime artist-educator producing artworks using traditional art techniques, self-expression, and new artistic discovery. I draw inspiration from patterns of nature, portraits, animals, and the environment around me; therefore, my art depicts hints of personal life experiences, and social and environmental issues. Currently, I'm creating abstract photography by the acrylic pour painting method and with a technique I call "splashart"- a technique by which water and paint splash together. Simultaneously, I capture still images of the paint and water transitioning and morphing to create abstract photography images. Digital manipulation is added to create mesmerizing, bold, fractal pattern paintings and professional photography prints are produced.
