About The Artwork
I live in Port Huron Michigan, one day I ventured out to capture a sunrise with my trusty Nikon D3400. When the sunrise was done presenting itself, I took a walk along the boardwalk at the Saint Clair river, and much to my surprise and enjoyment was a Great Blue Heron standing on a rock. It was patiently waiting for fish to swim close enough for it to catch breakfast. I wanted to get a picture but was afraid of scaring it off. I kept snapping pictures and slowly moving closer to the Heron, wanting to capture the perfect pose, knowing that the closer I got the better the picture would be. Much to my surprise the Heron was not concerned at all with how close I was or what I was doing, which made it possible for me to capture this beautiful shot. I went right home to run the photos thru Lightroom and printed a 13X19 print which is hanging on my office wall. NICE!

Hello, let me introduce myself. My name is Robert Hover, and I am a photographer, videographer, and creator. I am a 59-year-old leukemia survivor who drove trucks for 15 years, but after being diagnosed with leukemia and having a bone marrow transplant, I started pursuing my creative passion of photography. I love doing landscape photography and especially sunrise and sunsets, no two are ever the same. God paints a different one every time. I also enjoy waterdrop and lens ball photography.
