About The Artwork
In the summer of 2013 I took a ride on the Empire Builder which is a passenger train that runs between Seattle and Chicago. Along the way I photographed various scenes as the trip progressed. Later upon return a selection of images were transformed into vector prints. This one illustrates the interior of the station in downtown Seattle. It shows gate 4 which was the departure gate. It was taken while waiting for departure time to arrive.
