Within the line #02 Print - Limited Edition of 25

Limited editions of 70x85cm are printed on Hahnemühle FineArt Photo Rag paper 308 g/m2, and are delivered with author certificate. Each artwork is provided with an extra 2cm white border on all four sides to facilitate framing. The paper has been chosen carefully following a series of tests, the texture gives a three dimensional quality to the image, almost sculptural, that enhances the volume and curves of the sea surface and the sensation of endlessness and borderless underwater. The works of “Within the Line” are full of nuances and not without a beauty that challenges us. The pictures of this series were taken in the shores of the Balearic Islands, that I know very well. I’ve been passionate about the sea ever since childhood, and that’s why I chose it as a subject. I would like the pictures to helps us feel the power of nature, and help them realize we are all just a small part of it and not its center. These artworks offer a dialogue that opens the horizon for further questions, that banish archetypes and questions of their own gaze. The dark sea of Epics and Ancient Greek Poetry, never blue, but grizzly, gray, violet, indigo or black, the fragility of a body suspended under the protection of its immense intensity, and the question: Which body protects which?
