Within the line #03 Print - Limited Edition of 25

Limited editions of 70x90cm are printed on Hahnemühle FineArt Photo Rag paper 308 g/m2, and are delivered with author certificate. Each artwork is provided with an extra 2cm white border on all four sides to facilitate framing. The paper has been chosen carefully following a series of tests, the texture gives a three dimensional quality to the image, almost sculptural, that enhances the volume and curves of the sea Surface and the sensation of endlessness and borderless underwater. In this series I portray a wounded sea, like a body without a voice with the nakedness of a body delving into its depth. I wanted to highlight the relationship between humans and nature. Given that the artworks were taken in shores that I know well, that I have visited since childhood, I tend to reminisce about how everything used to look like. It is my hope that those images inspire us to feel the power of nature, its energy, and that they help us realize how small we are in the whole. We do not control nor dominate our environment, we form connections with it. Prints in smaller sizes are available directly through Saatchi in open editions.
