This cycle is dedicated to cities and life within them, their organization and functions. However, not as an administrative unit but as a collection of elements that are a graphic puzzle of the perceived world. Thanks to modern technology, we are able to capture infinite images at an unimaginable pace. This gives you the opportunity to create your own imaginary spaces with the help of ‘digitally found’ urban finds. I take pictures a lot when I travel. However, these are not typical travel photographs that constitute a record of the landscape or family portrait against the setting sun over the sea. The greater part of the images stored on the memory card is the immortalization of, for example, old doors, various vehicles, or other architectural elements, we pass by every day without thinking or paying them attention. Thanks to graphical programs, I am able to remove the original context that accompanies objects of interest to me. This allows them to give them new meaning, juxtaposed with seemingly nothing else. The constructed planes are anxious. Feelings of anxiety comes from degradation resulting from our oblivion. Forget about urban alleys, old backyards or street elements, which often come from a different era. Newly created collages form a series of ‘Places where I was when they were not yet’. Consisting of three districts, perhaps more will be created because this cycle has not been definitively closed. A single district is a polyptych, consisting of nine elements. Each element constitutes a fragment of the imaginary district. Some relate to the industry, some refer to residential districts and others to the urban periphery. Tight filling of space with urban forms refers to the tendencies of ‘horror vacui’ present in many cultures. Pictures of ‘my city’ contain silhouettes of objects and forms reminiscent of a post -apocalyptic vision. Another cycle referring to urban architecture is the series entitled ‘City geometry’. It is an attempt to synthetically present individual elements that have been deprived of the accompanying environment and juxtaposed with monolithic multicolored backgrounds. It allowed to create illustrations in the 50/70 cm format made in the digital printing technique This idea was also implemented in the art of serigraphy in the 21/30 cm format.

Since 2011, he has been professionally associated with the Institute of Art, and now the faculty of Art at the University of Opole. In his work he speaks through graphic art, screen printing, digital graphics and photography, often combines these media to create an individual language of expression. He sews on the machine, he learned this to create a series of „Observations”. He deal with it elements of urban space, old advertisements and neon signs, forgotten alleys as well as backyards where time has stopped. His attention is also paid to industrial, secession and modernist architecture. In his works, he synthesises a space in which the elements that are economical in their form become geometry of the city. Photographical and graphical collages, that he creates, become fragments of his own imaginary place. The industrial space, which he shows us around through his graphics.
