In my artistic practice, I study medieval manuscripts and secret symbols, exploring the subject of mysticism, alchemy and mythology. Each work is filled with encrypted messages. The Radiant Delta is a symbol of the Great Architect of the Universe. The open eye is a portal to comprehension of the truth and calls for wisdom. The sculpture is made of concrete, hand sculpted and enameled. Metal elements are made by welding and forging.

ASTIAN REY Born in 1987 in Kiev, Ukraine. Astian Rey is the founder of his own direction of art - “Sacred Brutalism”. In his work he explores themes of religion, mysticism and the occult, as well as their role in the development of humanity. Astian is known for his interdisciplinary approach to art, including sculpture, installation, literature and musical-performative experiments. He is the author of the Codex Reptilius project, which is an artificially created mystical cult with its own book, sacred objects and music album. The works are in private and public collections in Ukraine, the USA and Europe.
