About The Artwork

Hagar with child is a person mentioned in the Bible. She was Abraham's slave who bore her first son to her master. After the great event of Isaac's birth by Sarah, who was already very old, Sarah, who had finally become a mother, did not want Hagar and her child Ishmael to live in their family and demanded that Abraham send her to the wilderness. There, in the desert, Hagar raised her son and Muslims consider her their foremother and call themselves Hagarites in her honor. I hope the viewers will be happy that little Ishmaell and his mother survived. Clay is the most lively and sensual material I know.

All items are for sale. Perhaps one of my greatest excitements comes from the opportunity to feel new materials in my hands and to discover myself in a different creative atmosphere. I find this especially inspiring, and it motivates my continued interest towards my unlimited sense for the artistic combinations of new media and form. After working as an artist for many years, I have learned that I am always a student who is eager to learn and to create.
