With my sculpture, which is made by applying tin drops, I achieve a unique and original impact on the senses of the power of knowledge. This method of operation does not allow copying, because each tin drop is unique. As a base, I use a copper wire and copper foil fitting, on which, using a soldering iron, I splashed tin drops. So I create the magic of the tin drops, which has a powerful and striking impact. Overall, my sculpture method is completely original, I have not copied it from other sculptors and it reflects my feelings and aspirations! I hope that the viewers will feel the power of the knowledge. Mankind is different from other living beings with his ability to think. With this sculpture, I show the desire of man to achieve knowledge. The basis is an Egyptian pyramid written with one of the ancient alphabets - the Glagolitic script. The written word is of great importance for the development of the intelligence and communication between people. At the top of the pyramid, there is a human foot, accumulated with wings, symbolizing the pursuit of constant improvement and achieving new heights in knowledge. And of course, at the top is the human brain, thanks to which one strives for more new discoveries.

Born in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in the world. Aleksandar grew up in this cultural atmosphere where the love of art is inherited. But life has pushed him into the world of technology where he has worked all his life as a hi-fi engineer. As a result, the tin has become one of his usual materials and the soldering iron his instrument with which he has worked all the time. Today he still works with soldering iron and tin, but instead of hi-fi equipment, he designs his sculptures with it. What he has held back for a long time, he has now let go and released a printout of many years of impressions. His sculptures show a high sensitivity and an impressive profundity. In his works of art he balances between feelings and proportions with a high degree of precision, between motifs of structural composition and expressive expression. As a result, although his art is new to the art scene, it is highly interesting and engaging for the viewer. Enjoy the world of Aleksandar Kolev!
