About The Artwork

The TRANSPARENT SOFA, realized by the artist Anacleto Spazzapan, is handcrafted using the metal rod welded by hand, piece by piece. The sofa is unique and there are two armchairs made with the same style and the same color. The sofa sculpture can be used both inside and outside. This art work was born from the desire to recreate a known product with a new and unique technique. Despite the appearance is also comfortable and it can be used as a design sofa.

He has tried in different jobs: designer, production assistant, restructuring and trade. In the island of Java, he discovered a culture of 3,000 years ago; he has reported the existence to the Indonesian government and, with the economic and political support of an Italian entrepreneur, he made some excavations with important findings. In 2011 he started to create artistic and design objects with a new technique, invented by him, using only iron rods with 3 to 5 millimeters.
