About The Artwork

All a bit too much and extravagant. Cracked mirror, layers of paint and plaster and a golden extravagant frame giving the impression it's just been 'ripped' off the wall. An experimentation of abstract art, colours and techniques in combination with the beauty of a decadent golden frame.

I'm an emerging artist specialising in sculpture and mixed media installations. I like to explore 'the beauty of the broken'. I'm intrigued by decay, corrosion, broken glass or rotten wood. I want to know the history of the object and the life they have lived. I believe that these elements carry a beauty in them that gets often overlooked. I try to recreate this in my art often with actual lost and found objects but also sometimes by creating an illusion of age and decay. If you have any questions or would like more information about my work, please contact me.
