About The Artwork
Photograms are made in the darkroom by placing 3-dimensional objects on the photographic paper and exposing it like you would a negative. I used rubberbands to create lively, animated, white lines on a black background. The collage materials are Artforum Magazines cut in circles using a laser cutter. This piece is much brighter then it appears on the screen. This 11” x 14” collage is displayed in a white shadowbox frame. Refreshing and crisp, crystalline blue rings punctuate the black and white composition.
