Art Description

Collage: Wood, Found Objects on Cardboard, Glass, Soft (Yarn, Cotton, Fabric), Wood.

"Cities of the Interior", mixed media. Wood, string, acrylic paint, dried flowers, broken glass, yellowjacket, milkweed pod, silver ring, glass marble, cardboard, woodbriar, on fiberboard.

The title comes from the work of Cuban-French author Anaïs Nin; the vivid fragments of color and form embedded in the dark, fragmentary matrix suggests the turbulent psychology of Nin's life and writings.
