Genetics Determine All The Shit You Do
#FuckWisely

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Unapologetically, Stein’s artworks bluntly place free will against genetic determinism. Stein firmly believes that genetic traits dictate the person we become. He has spent the last twenty-five years painting and listening to women and is convinced that it all comes down to hereditary factors. If questioned about his declaration, he routinely responds, “Can you think of anything you do that isn’t a result of your genetics?”

This provocative thesis is the result of an inquisitive mind and an uncontrollable desire to paint taboo subjects for public consumption. Stein raison d’erte is to disrupt the political correctness of steering public opinion away from genetic determinism. Stein states that he is often asked, “why do you only look at the problems people suffer from?” He replies, “people without genetic problems are okay. I don’t paint beautiful pictures.” Stein’s outsider approach to making art has produced totemic women. These paintings provide a gateway to understanding genetic determinism. In short, Stein’s daring art pushes society to take accountability and question conformity. #fuckwisely

I am an ISSUE-IST. Issue-ism is a pioneering movement in contemporary art. It is where creativity meets consciousness, born from the artist’s deep connection to the pulse of the modern world. It transcends traditional aesthetics to become a voice for the voiceless, illuminating the pressing social, political, and environmental challenges of our time. In this space, the artist is not bound by a singular technique or form, but by a purpose—to provoke thought, evoke empathy, and stir dialogue. Whether rendered in bold abstraction, delicate realism, or any form in between, the essence of issue-ism lies in its ability to hold a mirror to society, making visible the unseen and amplifying the unspoken. It is art as activism, beauty as a beacon for change, and vision as a vessel for truth.
