About The Artwork

This artwork no longer exists. Destroyed 2022. What will happen when all the grass has been replaced by concrete and all the trees are gone? What was once a beautifully colourful mountain scene has become a monochromatic sea of grey. The grass replaced by concrete, the real tree replaced by a recycled one. Acrylic painted background with torn newspaper collage tree and text. The edges of the canvas are painted grey, so this can be hung without framing. Signed on the back. Proceeds of sale went to A Shore Thing; four women rowing from London to Lands End to raise money for Mind mental health charity.

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

Most recently Stephen's work has been featured in "And Now For The Good News (works from the Annette & Peter Nobel Art Collection)", at the Pera Museum, Turkey. Born in 1962 Stephen is a child of post war popular culture. His creativity began in '67 when his father set up a photographic darkroom in a cupboard under the stairs. There they made primitive b&w pictures, and Stephen hasn't stopped creating since. His work has been collected by Mark Bezos and many others around the world, and he likes to think his work gives pleasure, entertains and creates discussion.
