Proportions Explored, No. 3 Collage

I turned one of the demonstration drawings from my figure drawing class into four collages using the silk screen technique. It features the ideal proportions of the classical male figure. This is mono-prints #3 in a series 4. I used the paper cutouts used to block out areas of four different screen prints. I then used the ink color to glue pieces of these templates back into the final image. This made each of the four prints unique, but all carry the same title distinguished by their number. Collage #3, the final collage left, has a single collage piece in the upper left background. It is printed on quality, rag based printmaking paper and has a rag mat with ‘foamcore’ backing.
