About The Artwork
Collage composition of my new series FROM DOOR TO DOOR. They are a set of paintings inspired by great masters of universal art in impossible compositions in time and space. In this work, I have selected scenes from the the fresco paintings in the Cathedral of Orvieto (Italy): "The Damned" of the Last Judgment (1499) by Luca Signorelli. A dramatic woman is from the terracotta sculpture ensemble "Crying for the death of Christ" (1485) by Niccolò dell'Arca, who tries to escape condemnation through the colorful door.
