MANGDA is a mixed media artist who lives and works in New York City. She works in paint, assemblage, cityscape, and a variety of paper and woven textures. At an early age she has been driven to reassemble and reimagine — creating methods for reconstructing reality. Her work is a mystical practice that explores form and the motion of color as a rite of passage into the spirit, playfully bridging the dualies in life, and ultimately transcending all "limitations."
