Her four seasons Gods will invite you to travel between clouds, astrology, saints, animals, zodiac, moons and poetry. ALMANACH - History The almanac was born in the Middle Ages. The first almanacs consisted of astronomical tables that gave astronomical information useful to farmers and sailors, such as the position of stars , planets and constellations visible month by month, therefore the alternation of the seasons. Other news included weather forecasts, future events, births , deaths and weddings in royal families, crop and livestock prices, dates and locations for fairs. There were also rudimentary notions of medicine, as well as reports and tales of events that occurred in the world and written in popular version. . The publication of the ephemeris turned out to be an economic affair that the sovereigns of France and England, who held the monopoly, granted only to duly authorized publishers. The subsequent diffusion in popular districts and in the countryside was provided by street vendors who often read it in the squares to an illiterate public. .

Bio Born from a Venetian mother and a Dutch father, Fosca enters adulthood with the enthusiasm of a twenty-something looking for answers to existential questions through the creation of a fantastic universe filled with curious anthropomorphic animals. These creatures seem to find their roots in the apocalyptic menace of certain Flemish paintings, tempered by the lightheartedness and refinement of an XVIII century Venetian carnival. Her drawings, executed with the meticulous and patient precision of miniaturist, or even a goldsmith are the alphabet to a secret language. If a universe created by an artist makes her prisoner of it signs, Fosca will surely find it difficult to forsake her zoological creations. Maybe one day someone will dare to explore the hidden depths of her imaginary universe populated by fantastic animals.
