About The Artwork
“Border Collie in Patchwork” was created out of need and necessity. At the time I was struggling with an undiagnosed illness that left me with hand tremors and poor eyesight. I desperately wanted to paint my dog but I couldn’t hold the paint brush steady and my poor eyesight only allowed sight from 12 inches away. So I chose to use oil based markers and to draw in large patches. The finished product elated me and to this day it remains as one of my most popular pieces!
