About The Artwork
The two friends came up the river to a favoured spot to camp. The junction from water to land is marked for future recognition by her careful footing.They will go back the same way that they came. Huddled together they wait for their food to cook on the heating rocks in the enclosed camp fire, all the while being warmed themselves by the rising , encircling heat from the purposeful apparatus. They share stories or just glorify on the solitariness of the situation, whilst the blackness of the night sky begins to envelope them when the sun finally disappears.
