Sometimes I like to draw directly on the paper with the stain of the ink, without previous stroke, to build the image from the contrasting color with the white sheet. I drew this peacock impressed with the whimsical shapes of this bird and, above all, marveled by the small feathers of its crest that appear as a blue litmus crown. Every time I see this drawing, I see the pure forms of color and white that combine to result in an elegant and balanced image. Made on Rusticus paper with artistic inks, this original measures 22 x 35 cm and is shipped wrapped in a cardboard box with protections.
